We wanted to share a little story that warmed our hearts this past December. Remember the beautiful plants from Santa’s Secret Garden at Macquarie Centre? Well, we found them a wonderful new home at St. Gabriel’s School for children with special needs!
Since 2019, we have been commissioned by Macquarie Centre to create the Santa’s Secret Garden, a Christmas installation and interactive garden with over 250 groundcovers, shrubs and trees. Committed to sustainability, we ensure the garden’s vibrant flora finds a new purpose within the community every year after the installation period.
This year, thanks to the generosity of Dexus and collaboration with the Lions Club, we were able to connect with St. Gabriel’s, where the relocated plants now flourish and contribute to an existing sensory environment, offering visual and tactile experiences for the children, and deepening their connection with nature.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. It’s moments like these that make our work so meaningful. Thank you also to the wonderful year 12 hospitality students in putting together a delightful spread of refreshments at the school’s garden opening and celebration!
