This small courtyard really didn’t feel inviting from the house, the deck was hot and exposed and the space lacked any sense of personality. This was all changed with a few simple, but well considered modifications.
The deck was replaced with large modular pavers, a central raised garden bed was installed to support lush planting and a feature deciduous tree that creates all year round interest, whilst delivering the perfect evening focal point when up light. The BBQ was built in to form part of a seamless seating area that caters for the complete family.
