ABOUT THE PROJECT

The goal of the masterplan was to create an integrated learning environment with a strong sense of welcome, including to the wider community, while defining the boundaries of the school.

The landscape will promote outdoor learning, physical activity and sensory play with opportunities for communal and individual seating zones and a clear and safe network of connecting pathways.

The focal points will attract, engage and create a positive setting to influence and open up the minds and learning attitudes of all students. This needs to be a place to feel safe, connected with nature and inspired, a place to promote trust, social engagement and responsibility. This needs to be a place that rewards behaviour, develops talent, motivates and empowers individuals.
